Gingersnaps
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
2 cups sifted flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon ginger
Raisins and/or icing to decorate,
if desired
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add
molasses and egg; beat well. Combine flour
with remaining ingredients. Add to butter
mixture and mix thoroughly. Roll into
small balls and dip into additional granulated
sugar and leave plain. Place two inches
apart on greased baking sheet. Or chill for
several hours, roll thin and cut into gingerbreadmen.
Bake in 375° oven 10 to 12minutes.
If making gingerbread men, decorate
while still warm.

Your grgaerbiend looks nice. I have yet to try making my own grgaerbiend. I will have to add it to my to try list.

As a PC user, I think this news bites. For mnhtos I inquired about the PC Version and was told several variations of how you'll be releasing the PC version of the beta soon and now you guys are going to go into subscription mode leaving us PC Users out in the cold once again as the Mac Users who were given an opportunity to beta test the benefit of a free subscription for a year? Wow! Talk about fairness. I doubt very highly you're gonna run a beta program just for us PC Users based on our being alienated while waiting to participate in the beta. Hopefully we'll get a special reduced rate by the the time PC version is ready, but I seriously doubt Gobbler cares about us PC users. This is so disappointing.
